What Are Iran’s Missile and Drone Capabilities?

The power of its air force diminished by Western sanctions, Iran has invested heavily in missiles and drones. As a result, the country has amassed what US intelligence called in early 2025 the “largest stockpile” of such systems in the Middle East.

Neutralizing this threat has long been an objective of the US and Israel, and their forces were attacking missile and drone sites alongside other military targets in their war on the Islamic republic.
