Kenneth Shea covers consumer staples. Mr. Shea has more than 23 years of investment research experience, beginning his career as an equity analyst at Standard & Poor’s in 1986 covering the global food, beverages and tobacco industries. In assuming the role as Standard & Poor’s global equity research director in 1998, Mr. Shea was responsible for managing S&P’s large equity analytical group. He also chaired S&P’s Investment Policy Committee and was an active member of the S&P Index Committee. In 2007, Mr. Shea was appointed managing director of S&P Corporate Ratings, where he produced credit research on a diverse group of public and private companies within the U.S. consumer goods sector. Mr. Shea graduated from the University of Maryland with a BS in finance, and Rutgers University with an MBA in finance.
