California is ramping up efforts to combat opioid-related deaths by rolling out online sales of a drug that can reverse overdoses.
Naloxone, an over-the-counter version of Narcan, is now available for state residents at $24 per twin pack of the nose spray, California Governor Gavin Newsom’s office said in a statement Monday. That’s about half the standard market price, according to the news release.
