National Australia Bank Ramps Up Credit Provisions on War

National Australia Bank Ltd. increased its credit provisioning citing volatility in markets following the Middle East war.

The lender’s credit impairment charges are expected to rise to A$706 million ($504 million) in the first half of 2026, according to a statement on Monday. That’s up from about A$485 million in the second half of 2025.
