AI Cloud Provider Lambda Taps Former Sprint CEO as New Leader
Lambda Inc., an AI cloud-computing provider backed by Nvidia Corp., named Sprint veteran Michel Combes as its next chief executive officer, part of a management overhaul aimed at positioning the startup for growth.
Current CEO and co-founder Stephen Balaban will take the role of tech chief, Lambda said on Tuesday. He will focus on the company’s technology vision, while his twin brother, Michael Balaban, moves to the role of chief product officer. The company also enlisted John Donovan, former head of AT&T's communications unit, as board chairman.
