Compass Shares Surge After 2Q Revenue Forecast Beats Estimates

Compass Inc. shares soared as much as 21% in after-hours trading on Tuesday after the real estate brokerage company forecast stronger-than-expected quarterly revenue.

The New York-based company expects second-quarter revenue of $4 billion to $4.2 billion, beating the average analysts’ estimate of $3.95 billion. First-quarter revenue also beat expectations, coming in at $2.70 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.65 billion.
