Wheat Extends Gains as Poor Weather Worsens US Crop Conditions
Wheat climbed for a third day in Chicago as persistent dryness in some key growing areas of the US threatens the supply outlook.
Drought in parts of the US Great Plains is straining crops. Winter wheat was rated 28% good to excellent, down from 31% last week and well below 54% a year ago, the latest data from the US Department of Agriculture showed Monday.
